Hi Lusen,

Thanks for sharing your experience here.

Based on your description, it seems that you want to use the EyeDropper tool in Word.

From our test, we are sorry that this feature is only supported in PowerPoint.

I have a full understanding of your situation, as there are some users who posted their ideas to Word User Voice as providing the EyeDropper tool in Word on Windows client as well, there are two User Voice ideas you can follow to vote:

In the meanwhile, if you have any other questions when using Office 365 product, you can post a thread in the forum and we will try our best to help you.

If you click on More Fill Colors... and then go to the Custom tab of the Colors dialog, you will see the RGB values for that color

In addition, the color will then appear as a Recent Color when ever any of the Colors dropdowns are used

Hope this helps,

This works for shapes that are filled with a solid color. It is not helpful when you are trying to match the color of an object in a picture, whose color may vary across a range of RGB values and in any case is not accessible via the dialog you show.
