Upgrade to Outlook 2007 from Outlook 2003

I have Office 2003 with Outlook 2003 and would like to only upgrade to Outlook 2007.  Is there a tutorial on how to do this?

Thank you.

OK, that is a different story.

Installing Outlook 2007 should pick up all of the 2003 data files and settings.

This link describes planning for Outlook 2010, but should mostly apply to 2007 too:

Are you planning on keeping the rest of Office 2003? Outlook 2007 can only use Word 2007 as it's editor. If you get stand alone Outlook it will NOT use Word 2003 or any of the Word specific settings such as dictionary.   Personally, I'd suggest staying with Outlook 2003, unless there is a specific feature in it you need / want. Call Comcast, I think they will confirm that they also support Outlook 2003 connections.  Outlook 2007 still has the "good old" menu, not the "new & improved" <sarcasm> Ribbon.

The Microsoft Office Word 2007 e-mail editor is the only built-in editor provided in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007. The Word-based e-mail editor, which does not require that Office Word 2007 be installed, is always enabled and cannot be disabled. The Outlook editor is no longer available in Office Outlook 2007.

In earlier versions of Outlook, you could choose Word as your e-mail editor for composing and reading e-mail messages. Now in Outlook 2007, many Word 2007 features and commands are fully integrated with Outlook 2007 to make it a comprehensive e-mail message editor. However, more features and commands are available when you install Word 2007 with Outlook 2007. In the table below, you can compare the features and commands available with or without Word 2007 installed.

Some functionality from earlier versions of the e-mail editor is no longer available, including animated .gifs, embedded flash objects, and some advanced HTML and CSS formatting. You can use your Web browser to search the Web to find information about alternative ways to reproduce some of this functionality.

Outlook is no longer "officially" sold. MS only sells 2010. You can buy "old stock" 2007 on the internet, but you have to be careful about the reputation of internet sources.

Why do you want 2007 rather than 2010?
