11/18 Update: The 16.32 Insider Fast build that contains the workaround has been deployed as of late last week. Please be sure you are running the latest Insider Fast build, and let us know if you are still experiencing this issue.
11/12 Update: The team has deployed a temporary workaround that went out in the 16.31 Slow and Production updates that went live yesterday. If you are an Insider Slow user, please download the latest update and let us know if it is resolved for you. For 16.32 users, the same fix should be available with the next Fast update, coming in the next day or two.
11/8 Update: The team is still investigating. It does appear this issue is isolated to users with mid-2015 MacBook Pro laptops that are using a combination of a discrete Radeon graphics card and an onboard Intel Iris Pro card. If you are experiencing these crashes in Word and are not using this configuration, please let us know.
11/7 Update: The team is investigating this issue, but we do not have any specific updates to provide at this time. We appreciate your patience.
I have reached out to the Word team regarding the reported issues with macOS 10.15.1. As there are a great number of threads reporting these issues, please look here for any updates. I will post an update as soon as we have more information to share.
