Unable to find Ideas button under Home in Excel

According to your description, you can't see the Ideas in Excel on windows.

You mentioned that you are using version 1902 which is not the latest version of Office. We suggest that you could update your Excel to the latest version and see if you can see the Ideas button. For your information: Update history for Microsoft 365 Apps (listed by date)

You also mentioned that "I tried to add it from the Customize ribbon but its not having any sub tasks", did you mean that you could see the Ideas option, but you couldn't add it successfully?

If the problem still exists after updating, please provide a screenshot of your office product information for us. You can get a complete screenshot of product information in File > Account > Product Information column.

Thanks for the response. I went to Account and selected Update. After the update I got the message that I have the latest version. However, I don't see any change in the version number.

here is screenshot of the same. How do I update to the latest version?

And here is the custom ribbon using which I was trying to add the Ideas button. I cannot see the Flash icon

Thank you for the reply.

From your second screenshot, the Ideas tab doesn't show the flash icon under Home. If you try to add the Ideas tab under other main tabs(not Home tab), can you see it successfully?

If you still couldn't see it, please try to fix Excel client by performing an online repair to see the result.

I cannot add it to the main tab. Also in the available tabs only its sub tasks is not there. See the screenshot below. there is no + symbol for Ideas tab. I did a online repair as you suggested but still the same problem I am facing. I can only see the Ideas tab without its sub tasks as shown below. How can I correct this?

Since the problem persists after repairing Office, please try to Uninstall Office from a PC and re-install it on your computer to see the result.
