Unable to activate the "save icon" to save OneNote files on my computer

Greetings

I notice like OneNote is trying to force us to save on the cloud, I just want to be able to save my documents as I used to in my computer

And the save button is not even an option anymore, where and how can I add it ?
Thanks

Hi Fernando,

Thanks for your post on the community forum. I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

To change the notebook location from OneDrive to location, please follow these steps:
1. Open your OneNote application.
2. Click File at the upper-left.
3. Select the Info tab to view the list of your recently accessed OneNote folders.
4. Click Settings for the OneNote folder you want to move
5. From the dropdown that opens select Properties.
6. In the Notebook Properties box, click Change Location…
7. In the Choose a sync location for this remote notebook box, locate your local drive path
8. Click Select.
9. Give your OneNote folder a few minutes to copy. Click OK to the pop-up box that opens.

Regards
Nik

To customize the ribbon is the wrong way to create local notebooks. There is no Save button available.

The right way is File --> New:

Where they are stored by default you can see in Options:
