To-Do web not loading in Internet Explorer

Hi all,

This is an issue affecting all our Pilot users.

To-Do web works perfectly in Chrome, but our users are unable to load the To-Do site in IE. All other O365 apps work perfectly in IE. It's just To-Do that is having this issue.

One of two things happen, when browsing to https://to-do.office.com or opening the app from https://portal.office.com, it comes up with this error message.

We either get that, or an endless loop of asking for my Office 365 email address. We enter our email address in and press Next. It then redirects right back and asks for the email address again.

This is happening to all our users. We are running IE11 - version 11.1987.15063.0

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

HI JSSU,
It's not that IE doesnt work with to-do - its working ok here. That points to a security setting on your side. What do you use for antivirus and do you have a group policy in effect?

Hi,

We do use an antivirus, it's Symantec Endpoint Protection and we do have a group policy in place.

Do you have any idea what kind of security setting would be blocking this? It's strange as it's only To-Do with the issue. All other O365 apps work fine.

Thanks

Hi
So when I open up To Do online it has a different URL than my Office Online programs. They may need to allow
To Do URL https://to-do.microsoft.com
The office online is probably set but the one above is not.
Office Online URL https://www.office.com/?auth=2
I would reach out to your IT people to see if they can find a resolution.
Regards,
Sam

We've just noticed that To-Do doesn't load in Edge either.

The page freezes on this screen. Note the error in the URL.
