Tagging user as a VIP on Security Alerts

Hi all,

Is there a currently supported method to tag specified users as a VIP on security platforms such as MCAS or MS Security? We have frequent alerts coming in and it can be difficult at a glance to prioritise correctly without this tag on the users.

Answer

Hi SoMuchCoffee,

Greetings.

Based on my experience, in Office 365 Security Alerts, there are specific tags of priority marking an alert policy - Low, Medium, High, or Informational, see below screenshot. But I understand you might want to tag someone on Security Alters, not the entire policy. Now, that is indeed not feasible in Office 365 Security & Compliance center, your understanding is highly appreciated.

I think your idea is very practical. So I sincerely recommend you posting a feedback at Microsoft Office 365 UserVoice. let our program engineers listen to your opinions. Your time and understanding will be truly appreciated.

Have a nice day and keep safe always.

Thanks,

Linda
