This issue is commonly due to corrupt sync preferences. If you’re not using Sync Services, follow the steps below to disable the Sync Services, this will often resolve the issue:
Start Entourage. If you’re unable to open Entourage, move onto the next solution.
Click Preferences.
Click Sync Services on the left hand side.
Click to clear all boxes then click OK.
If you use Sync Services, click the link below and follow the instructions to
Reset the Microsoft Sync Services:
