Hi Tommy,

Are you trying to create a new notebook online or trying to access the notebooks already created in your Office 365 account? If you are trying to access your already created notebooks, then try accessing them through https://www.onenote.com and then sign in with your work or school credentials, see if your able to access them.

If you are trying to create a new notebook, then try creating them in OneDrive for Business, see if it helps.

Additionally, I’ll need some information to narrow down this issue:

1. Please check your Office 365 subscription. Is it home or Business?
2. Please provide us with the screenshot of Office application version. To find this, in PowerPoint, click File>Account, under product information. It looks like the screenshot below:

Got the same error for the first time I load OneNote with my 365 account.

• Given that I do not have any existing Notebooks on my 365 account yet, I would have expected a "create new notebook" button.

Anyways if you find yourself here reading this then to get around this message head over to your onedrive account

1. Click "+ New".
2. Then"OneNote notebook".
3. This is open up a box, enter new notebook name.
4. This will then create the new notebook and open onedrive for you
