Skype for Business not able to login

Hi Team,

We are facing a Skype for Business login issue and below are log details we seeing.

1 Login: FAIL (hr = 0x80ee001c) 

   VerifyOnEnableEvent result return ONENABLE_FAIL_SERVER_NOT_REACHABLE
   status=0x80ee001c
    ACTION: SERVER NOT REACHABLE
    NO MORE SERVER TO TRY
    ACTION : PERMANENT ERROR
1.1 Lync-autodiscovery: FAIL (hr = 0x80004005) 
Lync autodiscovery completed with hr: 0X80004005 sipint:  sipext:  authint:  authext:  ucwaint:  ucwaext:  wts:  ucwaurl:  telemetryurl:  isServiceInRefresh: 0 isTempError: 0Lync autodiscovery completed with hr: 0X80004005 sipint:  sipext:  authint:  authext:  ucwaint:  ucwaext:  wts:  ucwaurl:  telemetryurl:  isServiceInRefresh: 0 isTempError: 0
1.2 DNSAutoDiscovery: PASS

Same user when tried in other machine able to login but in this machine where we see error, still not able to login.

Can you please check on log and suggest us the resolution steps.

Hi SATEESH BABU,

 

Thanks for your post. Since you can sign in other machine, please help to do following:

 

1. Click Delete my sign-in info


2. Delete your sip profile folder.

  • Exit skype for business, Close Skype for Business completely by right-clicking the skype for business icon in the Windows System Tray and selecting Exit.
  • Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder that corresponds to the client version that is installed. You can check

               Skype for Business: %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Lync

  • Delete the sip_username directory that matches the sip address of the user experiencing the issues.  This directory will be rebuilt when client is restarted the next time.
  • Restart the computer
  • Restart the client

3. Please help to perform a clean boot in Windows, and you can check this reference.

 

For further help, please help to provide the version of your Skype for Business client, if you are not using the latest version, please help to update it via this link.
