Skype works fine, however, no one can hear me on Skype for Business. No microphone access requested in Privacy and Settings, though with regular Skype there is access. IT guy tried everything. (OS X Catalina 10.15.4)

Regarding to your problem, firstly, please make sure your Skype for Business is up to date. Since you mentioned that
no microphone access requested in Privacy and Settings, do you mean you have checked the
System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Microphone but Skype for Business is not in the list? If so, I suggest you try the following steps and check whether it works:
1. Disable SIP protection in your Mac.
2. Make a backup copy of the ~/Library/Application\ Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db file
3. Open Terminal and run sudo sqlite3 ~/Library/Application\ Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db to open the database TCC.db.
4. Provide your password when requested Within sqlite3.
