Show pinned files when right clicking Excel shortcut on taskbar

Is there any way to show pinned files, and not recent files, when you right click an icon that's pinned to the taskbar?

Hi,

You can right-click and pin the files, these will be placed above the recent files. But the only way not to see any recent files would be to fill the list with pinned files. In the following display I left 1 item in the Recent list but if I pinned it no new items would be squeeze on.

You can modify the number of items on the list in Windows 11 as shown here:
