Is it that you want 500 copies of a single page, or that you want to have sequential numbers for document control?
If the latter, see Automatically number Word documents by Graham Mayor.
I'm sure that it will work for the first as well but there may be a better way.
As to the first, my initial thought would be to do a Mail Merge with an Excel spreadsheet that has the numbers from 1-500 in a column.
