Script error after signing on my organization

Hello

My company migrated to Office 365 last week.

I have updated my OneDrive for Business for the version of Office 2016.

But since then, I am not able anymore to sign in to synchronize some sharepoints.

I have already spent a lot of hours searching on the Internet and modifying my computer to make it work.

But I did not succeed.

I have already checked that the scripting was enable and a lot of others things.

Some settings in Internet Explorer are blocked to due a GPO.

Can you help me?

Hi Damien,

Generally, the issue can be resolved by resetting Internet Explorer settings. I suggest you follow steps in the article below:
Change or reset Internet Explorer settings
(If the option is not available from your side, please turn to your administrator for further assistance.)

If the issue persists, to better understand the scenario, please confirm the following information:
1. Does the issue happen if you try logging into other Office application, like Word or Excel?
2. Does anyone else in your organization encounter the same issue?
3. If it’s convenient, try syncing on another computer.

Let us know if there is any update.

Regards,
Jiaxing Bian

Thanks for your help.

I have already reset all the settings without any success.

I am able to connect to office 365 using Internet explorer.

I am able to validate the check device control.

A my colleagues have the same problem.

I manage to have onedrive for business syncing Accenture SharePoints only on my Accenture computer.

On my other computer which is under windows 10, i have the same issue as on the one with windows 7 (screen above).

Due to the gpo rules i am quite blocked. I cant add any trusted sites for example.

I hope that all this information helps.

Hi Damien,

From the error message, your environment has the Symantec and SSO(Single Sign On). In this situation, please involve the global admin or the IT department of your organization into the thread and let them check the settings in Symantec and SSO.

For further investigation, please confirm the following information:(note: if you couldn't answer the question below, please involve the global admin)

1.To see if the issue is related your local environment, you may try syncing the SharePoint Online library on the computer out of your organization, and then share the outcome.

2.To check if the issue is related to the SSO, please create a new Office 365 work or school account with the default domain(e.g. user@contoso.onmicrosoft.com),and check if the issue happens to this user.

3.Provide the detailed steps about how you reproduced the issue. You may upload related screenshots to help clarify the situation.

4.Confirm whether the issue happens to all the users in your organization.

Thanks,
Felix

I can't ask any of my IT departments.

The issue that I have is either on my personal computer or on the my Airbus computer to connect to the Accenture sharepoint.

Airbus IT or admin does not care about allowing us to connect to Accenture sharepoints.

Accenture IT or admin does not manage Airbus laptop.

All the member of my organization have the same issue as me.

How do I create another account to connect to the Accenture sharepoints?

I have installed the "Portal to Office 365" application.

This application is displaying the same popup as the onedrive application but the double sign in is working fine in the portal.

I am able to set my Accenture credentials and validate my device with the Symantec add in.

In onedrive, after that I set my Accenture credentials, the script error occurs and I am not able to validate the device with the Symantec add in.

Don't hesitate to ask my for more information.

Hi Damien,

The working environment is complicated, please perform the following steps to narrow down this issue and share the outcome.

1.To see if the issue is related to the Symantec, try syncing the library on the PC without installing the Symantec.

2.To check whether the issue is related to your local settings or network environment,  try syncing the library on the PC out of your company.(e.g. at home)

3.To confirm if the issue is related to the SSO, create a new Office 365 work or school account (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***)and use the new account to sync the library. To create a new account: Log into Office 365 portal in the browser with the global admin account>Go to the Office 365 admin center>Users>Active Users>click Add icon to create a new user account>In the user name section, expand the domains to select the default tenant domain(e.g. @contoso.onmicrosoft.com)>Share the library with the user and use this account to sync it. For the details, please refer to Add users individually to Office 365 - Admin Help.

4.Check if the issue only happens to the specific library, please try syncing another library on this site. And sync a library from another site collection.

For further investigation, I'd like to collect the following information.

1.Share the detailed steps about how you reproduced the issue. You may provide the related screenshots to help understand the situation.

2.Please share your account information via the Private Message .

Thanks,

Felix

Hi Damien,

Thanks for your updates via the Private Message.

As the issue happens to all the users in your organization, and you have no permissions to change the IE settings or perform the troubleshooting steps, please consult the IT department in your organization to see if they prevent end users from syncing the library or changing any settings.

To move forward, please involve the IT department of your organization into this thread.

Regards,
Felix

The syncing works fine on my Accenture laptop but not on the Airbus one, it purely a configuration issue but I can't find the good setting (or maybe I am not able to change them)

Hi Damien,

For the "Airbus one", please consult the global admin to check if it is a valid device to sync the library or if any policies block the device.

If it is a valid device, let the user who has the permission to change the Internet Explorer settings refer to the steps in the following article:

The Notification “An Error Has Occurred in the Script on This Page” Appears When You Open Internet Explorer.

Thanks,
Felix
