save as window keeps popping up

I run Office 2010.

Recently the "Save as" dialogue box keeps coming up for no apparent reason.  Once it starts it won't go away unless I close the program using Ctrl-Alt-Delete and then restart.  Within 2 to 3 minutes the whole thing starts again.  I'm trying to avoid reloading Office to try and fix the problem, please advise.

BTW this mainly applies to Excel

Does the issue occur when opening the file or Excel program?

Try the below Methods and check the result.

Method 1:

Excel /safe

Note: There is space between Excel and /

If it works fine in safe, try to disable the addins and check the result.
