Requirements for citation of new royalty-free stock images in Word

Good morning,

I've inserted a couple of the new royalty-free stock images that are available with Microsoft 365 into a Word document I'm working on but it must be cited to meet the APA requirements of the College I work at. Does anyone have the terms of citing these new images? Do I need to say something like "Used with permission from Microsoft?  Or anything else of that nature?  I've searched and searched and cannot find this information anywhere.

Any help would be great!

Thanks.

Hi there,

I'm not sure if I described what I'm looking for well.  I know what format it needs to follow for APA 7th edition (ie. figure 1, title etc..) however I'm wondering if Microsoft has specific requirements as to what information they require put into in-text citations for these images.  Do I legally have to link to microsoft somehow or insert a quick © Microsoft 365 after the title.  If there are no known legal requirements, I will simply follow the APA 7th requirements and include all the info I do have.

Thank you!

Hi DomBai1,

Thanks for your further information, please don’t mind my incorrect suggestion.

As you know, there is no official article to introduce the legal requirements for adding in-text citations for royalty-free stock images. To have further confirmation, you can contact the Microsoft Public Relations resource to have accurate information and results.
