Replacement Of Company Logo Image In Multiple Word Documents - Office 2016

I have over 300 Word documents that contain an image of a company logo.

Every day / week, I need to change the logo for a different logo or at least 40-60 word documents.

Is anyone aware of a method, plug-in, or additional software I might be able to use to automate the image replacement?

Replacing the images manually one-by-one takes a good deal of time and it's becoming financially unbearable.

But I need to find a solution, so when I decide to change the logo from one logo to another, it's done by minutes, not hours.

I have read some advices on the internet, but most of them are related to Office 2003, 2007, 2010 or 2013 but I have Office 2016.

Can anyone help?

Very important for me to find a solution.

Thank you

Answer

If you save the logo as an AutoText entry and insert it in the document as an AutoText field, then when you redefine the AutoText entry and update fields in the documents, the image will be updated.

Alternatively, you could insert the image as a link; when you save a new image with the same name (and in the same path) as the linked image and update fields in the documents, the image will be updated.

Or you could insert the image as an IncludeText field; when the referenced file (or bookmarked object in the file) is updated and fields in the document are updated, the image will be updated.
