Remove title from list web part?

The stakeholder of our main SharePoint site has requested a secondary, re-colored set of Quick Links for the site's home page. As there was no obvious means of changing the color of the links in the stock Quick Links web part, I created them from a list with custom formatting. The issue I'm having is that the title of a List web part doesn't seem to be able be removed like it can for the Quick Links. The only means I have found was to replace the List part's title with a space character, which still leaves an awkward whitespace. Is there a way to remove the title and the space reserved for it? Barring that, is there a way to recolor the buttons of the stock Quick Links web part? Images below are of the makeshift links in place with the title displaying and with the title replaced with a space character.
