Reinstalling Office Home and Student 2013

I would require some more information regarding the issue:

What exactly happens when you try to install Office 2013?

Do you have any previous versions of Office installed on the computer?

Stop and start or restart Microsoft Office Service following below mentioned instructions:

Step1:

·         Hold Windows key +R.

Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press Enter:

services.msc

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.

·         In the Services list, double-click Microsoft Office Service.

·         In the Windows Installer Properties dialog box, click Automatic in the Startup type list.

·         Click Start, click Apply, and then click OK.

·         Start the software installation.

Step 2:

Restart the machine and repair Office.

If the issue still persists, run the Microsoft Troubleshooter from this KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2739501

Note: If you have issues in running the Fix it directly, you may save the file to the Desktop and then run the Fix it tool.

Once the Office files are removed, restart the computer then, install Office Suite and verify the results.
