Protecting forms in "Word"

I have created a fillable form in "Word for Mac" which I can lock and pass on to other people in my group so that they can fill in details but are not able to change the form. Is it possible to add a picture box or other device so that they can drag, insert or paste a picture into the form? Any advice would be appreciated.

Here are the steps to a a frame anchored to an unprotected section:

  1. Open Word>Preferences>View and check All under the Show Non-Printing Characters section. You may have already done this.
  2. At the end if your document, insert a continuous section break.
  3. Choose Tools>Protect Document.
  4. Check Protect document for:, then check Forms, then click on the Sections button.
  5. Uncheck Section 2. Section 1 with your form fields will remain protected.
  6. The section break text changes to show the form is protected.
  7. Reopen the Protect Dialog and uncheck Protect document for:, so you can add a frame.
  8. Insert a frame, ensuring that the anchor icon is after the section break.
  9. Reprotect the form. Now you can insert a picture in the frame.
