Problems loading to data model from get and transform (power query) with Excel 2016

Since three weeks ago, I'm not able to load any data to the data model (Power Pivot) from get and transform (Power Query). I'm using Excel 2016 with the latest update. This is a procedure that is working fine in 2013, 2019 and 365. I teach advanced Excel and I was able to test it in classroom with PCs with different settings. All Excel 2016 with the latest updates are not working.

I just installed today's Office patch it did not solve it.

It's easy to try, just take any Excel 2016 professional plus with the last update and follow this steps:

1) get and transform, from file,

2) choose any csv file,

3) load to data model connection only.

It stalls and won't load. ¿Is it happennig to you?

PS. Spanish version.

Thanks for any feedback in advance

Hi everyone,

After reading the latest posts in the thread I have tested if the latest Office update fixes this annoying bug that has been around for more than three months....

...The good news is that it is working.

This is the version right after the update

Please test your systems to see if the bug is fixed for good.
