Problem inserting word document into a word document

When I try to insert a word document into another word document the space for my data is very limited.  Almost 2 inches and it wraps instead of covering the whole page.  Any ideas?

Answer

You'll find the icon for inserting objects in the Text group of the Insert tab on the ribbon: Image.

When you click the arrow on the Object icon, you'll see a drop down menu. Click the Text from File command to display the Insert File dialog box. After having selected the document you want to insert, click the arrow on the Insert button and choose Insert as Link. See screen shot below.

Inserting a document as a link will create an INCLUDETEXT field that references the inserted file. You can update the field so that it reflects subsequent changes made in the source file. Also, you can save changes made in the field back to the source file with Ctrl+Shift+F7.
