Power automate and MS Forms

I've got questions about using Microsoft Forms and Power Automate. So I would like to use this template Create an event in Office 365 Outlook when a Microsoft Forms is submitted so that when someone responds to the workshop registration form it will send a calendar event in the person's outlook calendar.

However, I keep running into this problem. The convert time zone sections have a "Base Time" and the dynamic content options list Body of the form.  What part of the Form is the body? Is it the first part where you can Title the form and put a description?

Do I need to have a question in my form that has the date and time of the event? Would it work if, for example, I put a question "I want to register and attend" and have the only option be "Workshop on 6/10/2021 at 10:00 am".

Can anyone tell me when I'm trying to do a flow in power automate what they mean by "body" . Where is the body of a Microsoft form?

Hi Andrea,

Thank you for sharing the experience with us.

From description, I understand what you want is that when a user responses to a form, it sends a event in the calendar.

In the Convert time zone connector, for Base time, I suggest you select Submission Time instead of Body. Because Body is a collection of all elements of the form, but Base time requires a time related element.

When I try the template you shared, I find that it seems like an old template because I need to manually type the Source time zone and Destination time zone.

I recommend you manually create the flow and try the Convert time zone connector as it will provide different existing time zone options for you.

Here are screenshots about the flow for your reference:

( it creates event in a Microsoft 365 group)

Thanks for your patience and effort.

Hope you are keeping safe and well.

Best Regards,

Tina
