I don't understand why this is happening.

I am losing job opportunities.

I need to fix this quickly, please!

Why not save the resumé as a PDF file and attach that to your cover email?

I believe it's Save As Type and choose PDF in Word. Is the file extension PDF, DOC or DOCX?

PDF files open with a PDF reader like Adobe or Foxit. Most any company and most everyday users have a PDF reader. A lot more than have Word. I don't use it myself.
