Page numbers in Persian in Word 2019

I'm using Word 2019, I want to set page numbers in Persian in my document. But it only comes in English numbering.

What should I do?

Hi Yeganeh,

I take it you have installed the persian language in Windows, Ensure this is activated.

Then in word, ensure you have set numbers to context: ( By following the following instructions)

Go to File > Options > Advanced.

Scroll down to the Show document content section - you will find the Numeral option. Set it to Context.

Hi dear Julian,

Thank you for your reply. My numeral settings in Word is set to context. but I can't have my page numbers in Persian.

I don't know what you mean about activating the Persian language in Windows. I can type in Persian and language format in Region settings in the control panel is in Persian...

It does seem you are doing all the right things then, I would recommend filling out the feedback form on the office application to see if they can fix the issue with a future update.
