Outlook for MAC-Sending from different email address

My employer has set up an Office 365 outlook email account.  I have also downloaded Outlook for MAC on my desktop.

I am the only one in the office with a MAC.  She has given everyone in the office access/permission to send from her email address....everyone who has Windows version can do so - but I am unable to pick her email address to send from.

Does it have to do with the fact that I'm on a MAC and they are Windows?

@Ed_22, thank you for your sharing and it’s a great help.

I’d like to add this reference link to make sure you have become a delegate in Outlook 2016 for Mac. You need to add your employer account under People I am a delegate for in the first.

On the other hand, please ask your employer to double-check if your account has the Send As or Send on Behalf permission in Exchange Admin Center.
1. Login to Admin portal with an admin account, click Admin icon to Admin Center.
2. Click Admin centers > Exchange.
3. In the next page, navigate to recipients > mailboxes, and select your employer mailbox to Edit.
4. In mailbox delegation page, add the your account in Send As or Send on Behalf list.
