Outlook email Templates Nov 2022

I have been using my personal email templates daily. All of a sudden they have gone. The send button has moved to a new place and I cannot find my templates within outlook 365. They were so handy. Where are they and how to I add them back so I can use them without difgging into files folders on my drive?

Today is November 7 2022. This just happened. I used the templates this moring. Now they are gone

Hello Admincyndi I'm Diane, a Microsoft 365 Apps & Services MVP and I'll try to help you today. Are you using custom for templates in Outlook desktop or the templates Office addin in Outlook on the web? If you are using Outlook desktop, you can add the Choose form command to the ribbon or Quick Access Toolbar. https://filestore.community.support.microsoft.com/api/images/b0cf60ad-4cc6-4d67-927d-00d581f322d3?upload=true Otherwise it is under New items > More Items > Choose Form. https://filestore.community.support.microsoft.com/api/images/84b8ecd9-5508-49f7-ae73-214c0f5d37e3?upload=true If your templates are simple and don't need to open through the Choose form dialog, you can copy them to a folder in Outlook so they are handy. -- Diane Give back to the Community. Thanks, I access outlook on my PC and the screenshots you shared look nothing like what I see when I open my email.

I shared what my page looks like below

Where are My Templates now?

(They do not appear in the Get Add Ins on the upper right area either)

That is outlook on the web. You need to start a new message or reply - if the button is not visible on the ribbon, click the More Apps button - the template addin should be there. https://filestore.community.support.microsoft.com/api/images/af757ad3-5314-402e-9960-51346d9facc7?upload=true

Thanks

I have tried that according to your suggestions, it it shows as "ADDED" however it doesnt show up on the ribbon as you suggest. It just takes me on the loop showing me its added but no templates to be found and none appear in the email. How can I get it back?

It looks like you are using the red Get Addins button - you need to use the black and white More Apps button - but you'll only see it when you are composing a message. https://filestore.community.support.microsoft.com/api/images/bc36c896-2b1b-4af0-9b01-450d0f3f0e04?upload=true And a video I recorded tonight... https://www.screencast.com/t/tHolpASCn7yn Silly but Required Forum Disclaimer: Note: This is a non-Microsoft website. Thanks - as described, my interface does not look like the one you are showing me and I also only have a RED get addins - there is no BLACK MORE APPS option. as you can see below.

I use my email on the web. I have always used it this way. I will be continuing to use it this way. I do not even know how to find the version of email you are showing me.

Please advise.

For reference the way it was before was perfect. I am not sure why it changed and why there was no advanced option / warning.

I would imagine it needn't be this complicaetd. I am evidently not the only person finding this "upgrade" unhelpful. Thanks again

In that interface, if the buttons are not visible to the right of the send button, click the 3 dots. https://filestore.community.support.microsoft.com/api/images/b96a221e-56a0-478a-808c-3269e1bc7db7?upload=true If not there, go to Outlook on the web's Settings (gear icon) > View all Outlook settings > Mail > Customize actions. Scroll down to the bottom and make sure the options or addin you want to use are checked. https://filestore.community.support.microsoft.com/api/images/d15b6a29-9e30-433e-babf-c4c226ff3369?upload=true
