Outlook Calendar Time Marker Line Turned into Black Half Circle

The Outlook line that shows you what time it is on the calendar has changed into a black half circle on the left hand side of the calendar.  The line, normally, goes all the way across the calendar showing you what time it is on the calendar.  Something happened to change it into a small black half circle that moves down the left hand side of the calendar and I don't know how to switch it back to the line format.

Hi Bricoleur67,
That is the new design, you would need to revert to an earlier build to get rid of it. The black circle should go to the left edge of 'today'

But why the line going back to yesterday? Shouldn't the line be in today's column?

I also want the 'time line' back. I could actually see that line but have to actively hunt for the black half-circle.

That black half-circle is useless. Either put the line back or remove the half-circle entirely.

Hi,

How could we revert to an earlier build?

Thanks.

Best regards,

David

I am missing meetings because of this change and it's driving me crazy.  Totally need a fix for this before I lose deals and my job.  I keep looking at yesterday for today's meetings.

Our IT department just updated this and I had no choice in switching to it.

I agree, this was a HORRIBLE design change.  I have arrived at meetings 1/2 hour early and been late for some.  My eyes don't track well to looking at yesterday and trying to follow to today.  Thanks for explaining Diane at least we know what happened now.   You said you didn't work for Microsoft and my IT department said rolling back to a previous version wasn't feasible (which makes sense).  Do you know the best way to complain to microsoft? I'm not usually a nitnoid on design changes, but this is really bad.

Respectfully, the line would be more useful if the back circle was positioned to the right edge of "today".

I do agree with the negative comments. MS please remove that confusing and nonsense graphic in the next builds.

Just to add my 2 cents (not that I think Microsoft ever actually looks at community questions), I'm suffering the same frustrations with the dot being to the left of the current day and the line not extending across.

It's driving me up the wall because I have to concentrate and mentally re-align what the the line and dot corresponds to.

Bad UX for a lot of people, and if Microsoft did any actual user testing they'd soon realise that.
