Outlook Alert - Unable to log in to:SharePoint

Hi,

What is the reason of having an alert (Yellow Triangle with Exclamation point) in Outlook (bottom right) saying 'Unable to log in to: SharePoint'

Does this have something to do with SharePoint on Line which comes with our Office 365 (E3) subscription?

Thanks,

Ashok

Hi Ashok,

It means Outlook is trying to connect to SharePoint. There might be folders/emails from SharePoint that need to be updated with the password. Usually, this can be caused by the add-ins.

If you want to stop having the alert, you can try disabling related add-ins to see if it works:

Click File> Options> Add-ins> select “COM Add-ins” in the Manage drop-down> click Go> uncheck any add-ins that you are not using (like Microsoft SharePoint Server Colleague Import Add-in or Outlook Social Connector)> click OK.

Then, restart your Outlook to check it.

Regards,

Monique
