Hi.

Please follow the test steps I provided and you will see the results for yourself.  There were other comments in a separate chat space regarding this issue.  I use Outlook 2016 in my work setting; would love for this feature to work properly.

But to answer your questions:

  • No
  • No, and
  • No, first time tried

Damaged or corrupted system files is one of the possible reasons why the meeting request is not being delivered at the time that was set. We suggest running repair Office application as an initial troubleshooting step to resolve your issue.

Update us with the outcome so we can provide you further assistance.

The issue you are experiencing may have something to do with your profile or with the Outlook application itself. That being said, we will be performing some troubleshooting steps to isolate the cause of this problem. Before we proceed, kindly answer the following questions:

  • Is this the first time that you encountered this concern?
  • Did you notice any changes on the computer prior to this issue?
  • Which server setting are you using? Is it IMAP, POP3, or Exchange?
  • What is the current version and build number of your Office? To determine which version of Office you are using, click this link.

Since online repair didn't work, we suggest that you completely uninstall Office by following the instructions under Running Repair didn't help. Now what? found on this article. Once done, kindly reinstall Office.

Please post back with the result for further assistance.

This was replicated on others' machines. This is not a problem with my installation. It is a problem with the software.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for notifying this to us. We are able to reproduce the issue today, and we will also have this reported to our Office Developers for further investigation. That being said, we would like to know a few more information that we can add it to our report. Please post the following:

  • What is the current version and build number of your computer? To get the information, kindly follow the steps below:
    1. Click on the Start menu.
    2. Type winver.
    3. Press Enter.
  • What is the current version and build number of your Office? To determine which version of Office you are using, click this link.

In the meantime, we suggest that you try performing the following to totally isolate the issue and ensure that the current user profile and your Windows is not at fault:

Method 1: Create a new user profile and name it as Test.

Once you've created a new user profile, have it added with the same credentials and send a test meeting by performing the same steps and sending it to your email.

Method 2: Run your Outlook in Safe mode.

This is to ensure that there are no 3rd party add-ons that might be causing the issue.

Please give us a feedback if the issue is still the same as this would be valuable information as well for the investigation.

Hi Peter,

Thank you for this information. Rest assured this will be included in our report for the investigation. We noticed that you are still using an earlier version of Windows 10. Have you considered updating to the latest build of Windows 10?

@HelnSki,

Are you also using same build and version of Windows 10 and Office just like the one that Peter is using? If yes, we would also suggest that you consider updating as well. Otherwise, please have your Windows and Office build and version posted to this thread as well.

Please keep us posted with these information so we can assist you further.

Thank you, Rolando.

My organization controls updates to my operating system, so unfortunately I'm not always able to access the most recent one.
