OneNote Help with a bunch of issues.

Hi we are just starting with this in my school and I've got a few questions to help me put my students work in a format which everyone can use and feel comfortable with. (I am using OneNote 16, but also have access to OneNote Windows 10)

Sorry it this is a bit of a shopping list but I'm getting very frustrated with this. Thanks in advance.

How do I:

  1. Merge Cells in a table

  2. Text containers with boarders round them.

  3. Rotate Text

  4. Show a ruler

  5. Get everything to line up nicely and snap to position

  6. Crop an image

  7. Resize cells vertically in a table.

We went through the post carefully. We have also tested in OneNote from our side.

Very sorry to say that there is no out of box feature in OneNote 2016 or OneNote for Windows 10 to achieve what you described.(except question 4 and question 5, you may refer to Bernd's suggestion)

We do understand the inconvenience. Apologize it doesn't meet your requirement.

 

You bring good ideas and we know it would be great and better user experience if we can do what you described in OneNote app.

Insert option to merge table cells in the onenote. · Community (microsoft.com)

Allow user to rotate objects · Community (microsoft.com)

Add a ruler to the onenote 2016 desktop · Community (microsoft.com)

Add ability to crop images · Community (microsoft.com)
