OneNote Exporting For Students

Microsoft Staff, 

With everything going online I have been trying to complete my homework with my Surface Pro. I have just discovered that I cannot export homework that I complete on OneNote. This is quite frustrating to me because I spent loads of time looking up how to export pages and workbooks only to find that it is impossible for me to upload my homework with a school (business) account. I bought this tablet so that I could do homework without constantly printing and scanning files as well as taking notes more efficiently. I do not understand why Microsoft would let students use Office 365 if they are just going to limit the abilities making it useless for me to do homework on. Any advice on what I can do to make it so that I can export my homework through pages would be great. Otherwise I've wasted a lot of my own money and time to find that I can't do homework with this tablet.

I’m really sorry for the inconvenience it may have caused.

In OneNote for Windows 10, users cannot export notes. However, since you’re an Office 365 education user, you can use OneNote 2016 that comes with the Office 365 suite to export notes.


Or if you’re using OneNote for the web, , you can print notes to PDF files and save them locally.
