OneNote Clipper Edge Extension - cannot Sign in with a Microsoft Account

I am unable to "Sign in with a Microsoft Account" using the Edge Browser Extension under Windows 10 Professional. All works fine using the Chrome Extension!

To me this is not new. It was the same before the the Anniversary Update and also after. I have uninstalled, reinstalled , closed the the browser and restarted, etc... I start here:

Selecting "Sign in with a Microsoft Account" yields -

Selecting "No" just loops. Selecting "Yes" closes the window and returns to Sign in panel.

Entering Alt, Shift, Feedback shows I am using the latest extension from the Store -

I am not sure what it means, but selecting "Sign in with a work or school account" does take me to a credentials panel!

Unlike others I have never been able to use the OneNote Clipper for Edge.

Is there something fundamental that I am missing?

Hi Raymond,

Worth a try, but of course mine is a Microsoft Account and the "Work or School account" logon rejects it.....

Hi Raymond,

Been here many times, but to confirm the journey. First the the Uninstall -

Selected Ok. Then closed Edge. Reopened Edge and proceeded to install new Extensions -

Selected OneNote Clipper from the Store

Selected Install that went to downloading and Launch

Selected Turn it on and Closed Edge.

Opened Edge. Selected the Clip to OneNote extension in the side drop down panel.

Selected Sign on with a Microsoft Account as my original post.

I still have the original problem - no change.

For the sake of brevity I have not re snap shot the screens, but they are as shown in my original question.

Hi,

Thank you - your English is much better than my Chinese !

I confirmed my Internet Options were already set as in your example at

Control Panel, Internet Options, Privacy, Advanced -

I selected OK and Restarted my system.

The OneNote Clipper Edge Extension still does not Logon to a Microsoft Account.

So may be this is not the Cookie Issue.....

Same question:

Hi,

I already have Cookies allowed ...

But went the IE way to set the Internet Cookie Options again...

Closed IE, Closed Edge, Restarted Windows 10, Opened Edge.

Selected OneNote Clipper in side Panel. No Change - Will not Logon with a Microsoft Account.

I note that Send to Onenote works fine in IE, and OneNote Clipper works fine in Chrome.

I wonder what is different about the OneNote Clipper Edge Extension?

From this PIC to see should be your account or password issues, and unrelated to the browser or plug-in.

Correct - Raymond wanted to confirm that did not work. There is still no functional sign on with a Microsoft Account.
