OneDrive iOS App Photos Tab Showing All Photos Rather Than Just My Pictures Folder

Apparently, this question has been asked before.

Is there an answer?

I do not need hundreds of album covers on my phone under photos.

I finally found the option on the OneDrive website to only show photos in "Pictures" folder.

Thanks

Your comments are consistent with what I have found while searching the Internet.

This is an obvious feature and should not need users to complain. I have been developing software for 50 years and don't understand why Microsoft does not mandate that all apps have consistent features across all devices. This should apply to all Office 365 applications. There are many Outlook apps that behave differently. Just try and make all the fonts available on all devices. Sorry about the rant.

By the way, would you know if there is a way to designate a folder as an image folder that can be included or excluded from an app. I have hundreds of genealogy images that I would like to browse as photos but don't want them on my phone or tablet.

Thanks again for your response.

Best wishes,

Lionel

I think that is not possible because any folder that you create in https://onedrive.live.com then you will see in all your devices, there is no option in order to hide it from specific devices, you will always all the folders structure in your phone.
