OneDrive gives the error "Camera upload is paused, Sign in to continue" even though I am signed in.

I just realized my Camera Upload has not been working for about a week and a half.  When I go into Photos in the OneDrive Android app, it gives me the error: "Camera upload is paused, Sign in to continue" even though I am signed in.

I have tried signing out and signing back in, but no luck.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Dear Paul,
Thanks for participating in the Microsoft Community. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll help you.

You could try this:
With any internet browser, go to https://onedrive.live.com/?v=managestorage access with your credentials, then check out if you have available storage space.

If do not has problems with the storage, then remove your app from your device, remove Onedrive app cache, re-boot your device, install the app from PlayStore and sign in with your personal credentials, and try to upload again.

Do not hesitate to ask if you need more information.
I hope it has been useful to you.
Regards,
Renzo.

Uninstalling and reinstalling worked for half an hour, than the problem returned. Are we supposed to uninstall and reinstall daily?

I had this issue for days and just fixed it by renaming a file that was already in onedrive with the same name. Seemed like it was getting stuck because there was already a file in there with the same name. This is only since changing to a new Android phone recently.

This problem is still happening. How can Microsoft--you know, one of the biggest IT companies out there--allow such an annoying and time consuming bug to exist in its Android app? We pay so much for these services.

Hi Renzo,

Sometimes what you suggested works temporarily, and sometimes it doesn't work at all. This is very frustrating. Looks like I'm not alone here. How do we submit a bug report?

Thanks

Paul

I have the impression that a same file sometimes cannot be uploaded twice and causes this error (although the error message has nothing to do with it).

I had the same error on an Android phone and nog storage limits on my account.

When I deleted the next file to be uploaded, the process continued.

I have the same issue. I've tried these "fixes". They don't work.

We pay a lot of money and photo uploads should be simple.

Google is free and works great.
