Once Again After Password Change MS Office Keeps Asking for Password

Once again after my quarterly MS password change, every time I try to save anything with one of my MS Office 365 programs, I get asked for my password.  How many times do I have to do this?  I dread changing my MS password, because this happens very frequently.  When I look at my OneDrive for Business, it appears to be syncing correctly.  Why will the new password not stay remembered by the MS Office 365 programs (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)?

Hi David,

Please follow the steps below to remove the existing Windows credentials about Office 365 to see if the issue can be fixed: 

1. Quit all Office applications on the computer.  
2. Go to Control Panel > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials. 
3. Under Generic Credentials, select the Windows Credentials about Office 365. 
4. Click Remove to remove all Windows credentials about Office. 

5. Restart any Office application and sign in with the new credential.
