Office Home & Business 2019 for Mac activation says no License found try another account

I see that there is over 50 posts on this issue, but no actual solves.

I have the license under my Microsoft Account under subscriptions and services.

I have a key that is linked my Mac when I first installed software to my Mac. I then opened Word and it said to login into my account to activate software,

then then do that and then it says "no License Found".

But it clearly is listed on my Microsoft Account.

I have read everything and tried uninstalling using Mac guidelines, used the removal tool to remove all licenses from Mac, then reinstalled but same issue : "no License found"

Need Help.

We regret the inconvenience and greatly appreciate the multiple troubleshooting steps you've already completed, it means a lot to us!

We speculate that this may be related to your version of Office.

The October 2023 Update (16.78) is the last on-premises release that supports the Office 2019 license type. If your Office version is higher than this, please consider uninstalling Office and installing an older version of Office that still supports the license.

Please refer to the following website and download an older version of Office suite (16.78 or older) and then see if the issue is resolved.
