Office 365 account can't sign into some services

I have a microsoft account with a personal domain that I've had for years, and on some services like portal.office.com and trying to run Connect-MsolService in powershell I get:

This is an admin account of an azure subscription, so I need to be able to set the user's location.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your post. When I test it on my side, I got the following prompt when sign into portal.office.com on my side. 

According to the prompt, your account is used more than one account from Microsoft. There are some conflicts between them, to avoid this, I suggest that sign into Office 365 with your initial domain which shown as ****.onmicrosoft.com to see how it goes.
