Microsoft Excel for Mac is terrible, and I have perused a lot of forums trying to figure out how to do things, since they have changed layouts from more intuitive older versions to whatever this is.
I need to create a ton of graphs for a class I am taking, and I have taken to using Google Sheets because it is simply easier and less frustrating. However, I need to learn how to use Excel, since that is what is expected of me in the field, so here I am.
I need to create a graph with 2 x-axes and 1 y-axis (which is shown in reverse order).
I have triple and quadruple checked that the correct columns have been selected.
Ice age is primary-- it has the correct y-values, but not x-values.
Gas age is secondary-- it has the wrong x and y values.
If I don't designate anything primary or secondary, the plots are practically on top of each other.
I have stopped asking the TAs from my lab for any technical help, as they just shrug their shoulders, shake their heads, and say they don't know how to do it.
Here is the plot I've created. Can someone tell me if this is correct? And if not, can you tell me how I can get Ice age and Gas age to be on the x-axis (with the correct labels) and the y-axis to also display correctly? I am beyond frustrated. It has taken me hours to get to this point.
