MS Forms - How can I influence which type of graph forms chooses?

Thanks for posting the thread on our forum.

According to your description, it seems that you want to know if you can change the graph forms of the result.

We did a test in our end, if we add a question as choice, the result will indicate as the bar graph.

If we add question as Likert, the result will indicate as the pie chart.

So if you want to change the graph forms to bar graph, you can click add new>click the drop down menu>Likert>to see the result.

Thanks so much Stacey. It looks like both questions were developed as choice questions yet one is a bar graph and one a pie graph.

I am still getting a pie chart for one questions and a bar graph for the other even though I have set up the two questions exactly the same way. So any further suggstions how to resolve this are welcome!

thanks for trying to help! Later tonight< I will be able to share the spreadhseet but at work i cant. There are 4 questons I created, all by copy-past and then making changes to the name and selection options. Two of those 4 resulted in a bar graph and the other two in a pie chart.

Obce again thanks for your tome and effort nad helping me resolve this. I only have one survey as in fairly new to ms forms but all 4 questions were created as Choice Questions.

There seems to be a definitive difference between those questikns as the pivot tables look different too. The bar graph questions come up as a neat pivot table whereas the pue chart questions have blank rows and group the data differently.

Ive been trying all sort of ways to upload screenshots but because il using a work account, no matter what browser or device i use, i am unable to add screenshots at this stage as my account keeps blocking them. Ill keep trying.

Did you try to change different browser to see the result? Does it work?
