MS Forms - Drop Down Choice Eliminator

How can I get a drop-down option to automatically disappear from a MS Form after a user has selected an option and submitted their response?

In other words, a choice is eliminated from a drop down box after selection and submission.

Google Forms has Choice Eliminator, what about MS Forms?

Hi GH_CCG,

As per your description, we understand your requirement i.e. to eliminate the choices selected by the respondent once they select for the question in the Microsoft Form and we’re sorry to convey that currently it’s not possible to achieve your requirement.

I do understand the inconvenience caused and apologies for it. Given the situation, I request you add your vote to related idea: "Choice eliminator" for multiple choice questions in Microsoft Forms UserVoice as related team can take into consideration. Your feedback is highly appreciated as it helps to improve the functionality of the product.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a good day and stay safe 😊

Best Regards,

Chitrahaas

Hi Chitrahaas,

Thank you for your response. I have added a comment to the post that you shared.

Please can you, or a senior member working on the MS Forms platform, comment as to why this functionality has not been prioritised? I can find people requesting this functionality in MS Forms from several years ago, yet nothing has been done - and it already exists on Google Forms (!). I would request that your team code this functionality urgently - surely it only needs a few 'if statements' and 'lookup' queries of any of the Form's submissions.

Best,
