I have realized that your OneNote have a 3 minutes limit to record audio?
I would like to confirm that what device you are recording from and what version of OneNote you are currently using?
I have tested this through OneNote on my computer and found no problems.
But I have had feedback from some users that Android phones do only record for 3 minutes and have been told that iPhones and MacBooks do not have this limitation.
If you have an Android phone, this may be related to your phone's system, and I suggest you wait for an update to fix the issue, or you can click the Feedback button above OneNote to give your feedback.
