Migrated to Office365 now scan to email on copier does not work

I have an issue where we have a copier that worked prior to migrating to office365 for mail. I changed the settings as specified by this link:

https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn554323(v=exchg.150).aspx#Howtodirectsend

I know I have the settings correct but nothing will work. We don't have our own email server onsite so trying that is not an option.

Anyone run into this and able to get it to work? Tried different brand copiers none work.

Tried below settings:

server: smtp.office365.com

Port: 587 & 25

TLS: enabled

Authentication: office365 global admin credentials

Also tried direct send settings:

server: xxx.mail.protection.outlook.com

Port: 25 & 587

TLS: enabled

Authentication: office365 global admin credentials

Answer

for anyone running into the scan to email feature using konica minolta printers scanning to office 365. after a lot of troubleshooting. i finally fixed my issue.

i was able to resolve the issue by removing the device certificate. it is under security tab, pki settings, device certificate setting, and delete the certificate. i hope this helps others out there.
