Microsoft Word 2010 has missing menu bar, how do i get it back?

I just noticed that my pc is missing the menu bar in Word 2010.  The one that has file, edit, view, insert, format, tools etc.  Any help getting it back would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

If you are using an older version such as Word 2003, see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/MissingMenusEtc.htm.

In Word 2010, you should be seeing Home, Insert, Page Layout, References, and some more. To see all commands of the active ribbon tab, double-click (say) Home, or right-click it and clear the check box next to Minimize the Ribbon on the context menu.

If you are talking about Word 2010 for PC then you cannot unless you use a third-party application.

I suggest you take half an hour or so to familiarise yourself with the new layout. IMHO you'll find it far easier as you get to know it than the old convoluted menu system...
