Microsoft Whiteboard Touchscreen Timer

My school recently installed 75 in. touch screen monitors in our classrooms. I would love to know how to extend the time for the touchscreen to stay active. I will write something on the board and turn around to ask a question and discuss with the class and it seems like after even a minute, the touch of the touchscreen has turned off. I have to tap the board and wait a few seconds until I can continue writing on the board. I want to be able to write on the board, have a discussion and go back to the board and continue writing without having to pause for the touch function to wake up each time. Is there a setting that I can change to allow me to do this? Thanks!

Dear Adam,

Good day! Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

We went through the post and understand you use Microsoft Whiteboard on touch screen monitors, it seems like you want to extend time to let the touch screen stay active with longer time.

As far as we know, we're afraid there is no settings in Microsoft Whiteboard for this kind of requirement, it seems that it may be a setting of the touch screen itself.

And for narrow down the situation, we'd like to confirm that if you use other applications with the touch screen, does the touch of the touchscreen turn off after you don't have any activity on the touchscreen for 1 minute?

Look forward to your reply. Thanks for your cooperation!

Hope you keep safe and healthy always.

Sincerely,
