Microsoft Teams caught in loop asking to disable third party cookies

When Teams loads, it asks to disable third party cookies in my web browser. This has happened on two different machines. Is this a group policy thing since I am on a domain?. Teams was working on both machines then quit. I have tried allowing teams.microsoft.com as exceptions in both of my browsers on my current machine but no luck. Any ideas?

Hi Jimmy,

To better assist you, we would like to know if you have tried accessing the web page on a different web browser?

Looking forward to your reply.

Regards.

Add an exception for https://login.microsoftonline.com/

That worked for me!

Assuming you mean to Internet Explorer | Privacy | Sites ?

I tried adding this (as well a Microsoft.com.com) and no fix. Still loops a few times and then closes.

I guess I will just follow the advice from MS rep above - use a different browser like Chrome.

I have same issue.  It is not working on either IE11 or Edge.  Chrome works fine.

The answer cannot be to use Chrome.  Microsoft might as well punch themselves in the face.

Find a solution? We finally have Teams enabled in our test tenant, but I'm having the same redirect loop in Edge.

Not yet.  We have a ticket open with their support team.  The issue appears to be with systems that use GPO to set browser related preferences or policy.  We are thinking preferences that may conflict and will be testing later today.

Seems, that adding teams.microsoft.com to the "Local intranet" zone fixed our issue.

Can someone confirm?

We didn't like the idea of adding the site to the Local intranet zone but adding teams.microsoft.com to Trusted Sites list fixed our issue when using Internet Explorer 11.

check here https://superuser.com/a/1205043/216033

1. Left Bottom you can download the log file.
2. If IE/Edge has pages in different zone you get a login error it seems. So all sites used for teams must be same zone.
For us we have removed *.microsoft.com from the trusted zone (so all are just internet zone)
Other pages are btw skype.com and maybe .online.lync.com
