Microsoft Forms - Quiz Printouts Show Answers to Short Answer Questions

When printing out a quiz on Microsoft Forms, the printout will have the correct answers printed below the short answer questions. It does not reveal the answers for any other type of questions (multiple choice, long answer, etc.), just short answer. I've checked settings, but don't see anything that could be allowing this. Surely it is a mistake, as why would you want to give a quiz with answers already on it? This is happening to multiple teachers within our school.

Dear Jill,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on the description, print preview showing the correct answer. Before moving forward, we need more detailed information about the situation you are experiencing.

Are you trying to print the Microsoft Forms questionnaires or the responses or results?

Could you please provide a sample screen shot of the print preview.

I would suggest you to try to press CTRL+P in the design page of Microsoft Forms  or within the questionnaires.

We look forward to your response. Thanks for your cooperation. Stay safe and healthy always.

Sincerely,

Zee | Microsoft Community Moderator

Thank you for your quick response! It is happening on printing the questionnaires. As you can see below, the printouts show the answers for short answers, but for other types like multiple choice do not. I marked Option 1 as the correct answer for question 2, but it doesn't show that on the printout.

Dear Jill,

Apologies for the delay. I did the testing on my side using the Text question and include answer like you did and I can reproduce the same behavior.

Since you're trying to print on the design page of Microsoft Forms were you can edit and create the questions and answers, all inside the Microsoft Forms will be printed.

If you wish not to show the answers and print only the questionnaires, I would suggest you to click on Preview on the upper right side of the page and press CTRL+P.

This is the screen shot if we press CTRL+P on Preview.

Thank you for this. I really appreciate you troubleshooting this with me. Your solution will help a lot of users at my school. The only problem that some may run into is if they have a quiz with sections and questions that are required. When pressing ctrl+p on preview for this type of quiz, you only get the print out for questions on the 1st section. I guess the teachers could fill in the questions on section 1 and then press the next button to get to section 2 and then press ctrl+p again. That just seems like a lot! It just seems weird. We didn't have this problem last year and I can't quite understand why this would be a feature that people would want. If you are creating a quiz, you wouldn't want people to know the answers. If it was going to print the answers, why not print the multiple choice answers too? For now, I'll let our Forms users know that sections are probably not a good idea. Thank you so much for your willingness to help with this!

I am experiencing the same thing. I use quizzes with sections. Previous to this year, it would print the entire quiz/form without the answers. Now, I have to preview each section, and print each one individually. I wish there was a simpler way to do this.
