Microsoft Equation Editor 3.0

I have installed MS Office 2016 (64 bit) version to my laptop which is running on Windows 10. However, I cannot use the equation editor as its not allowing me to enter anything.

Can anyone advise me on this?

Thank You

Pabodha

Unfortunately, it is a feature that no longer works in Word 2016.

Note your displeasure at:

https://word.uservoice.com/forums/304942-word-for-mac/suggestions/10316460-microsoft-office-2016-does-not-support-equation-ed

as the more votes, the more chance there is of it being resurrected.

Hope this helps,

Dear Mr Robbins,

Thank you for the reply. However, Do you know any other alternate way to do this or should I need to install older version of word?

Thank You

Best Regards

You can use the Equation facility on the Insert tab of the ribbon.

Yes Thank you very much for reminding me of it Mr. Robbins as I already forgot about this way due to lack of use.

Anyway I hope the Microsoft company will fix this problem asap for its users.

Thank you

That suggestion is for Mac. It would be better to find (or start) a suggestion for WinWord at http://word.uservoice.com/
