microsoft account login in for apps etc. cant use email ie my 365 account email

I am asked to sign into my microsoft account, for an app or program to hook up outlook or something, it takes me to the normal microsoft login in page, I put in my microsoft login, which I use for everything like outlook or anything microsoft related, and it says "that microsoft does not exist, enter a different one or get a new one" ?? I then find it says I cant use a work or school email. How do I make this work for me since my email for my 365 is the only email I have or use?

I am self employed and its the only email I have for everything.

1. Could you please provide additional details about the application or program you mentioned and how it is connected to your Outlook?

2. Could you please confirm whether you are using a Microsoft 365 Business Account or a Personal account (such as outlook.com or hotmail.com)?

There is a personal login and I guess a business login for Microsoft

All the apps go to personal Microsoft log in, I do not use or have a personal Microsoft login I have a business 365 account, it is my only email I use

I do not want to pay or add another email address, I just want to keep using my *** Email address is removed for privacy *** email which is the only email I every use.

What do I do to make this work?
