Microsoft 365

hi 

I have paid for Microsoft 365 and have previously used on one device. Bought I new device how do I add it to my subscription. When it asked me for my details, tells me no licence held under this account

how can I make the most of the option I have paid for and for some reason cannot use

Log into this page with your Microsoft Account:

https://account.microsoft.com/services/

On that page, you should be able to see your Microsoft 365 subscription listed and from there, you can install that on the new PC

Hi Jayne

Just checking in, were you able to install Office form that link, or is that where it is
reported that there is no subscription listed on your Account?

If so, do you have two Microsoft Accounts, or perhaps a work or education account?

Thanks for your assistance. 

I had already attempted this, you can only add microsoft products. Tried to put in serial number. That didnt work for my mac. I have downloaded the app. Put in my details wants me to buy new subsription no licence found. Very irriating 

I paid £79 have only one device which is older on there. Why cant i make the most of my subsription

That link says my subscription expired to renew pay again

so I had a free trail in 2015 that expired. I used something other than Microsoft  for a fix as I wasn't using documents that much.

It was way after the month for whatever reason would let me pay on that one. Just got expired, It was all very frustrating. Needed word, straight away, for my son paid £79.99 on 28/09/2020 under his name but my email, is this just one device or for more?

All Office 365 subscriptions entitle you to install Office on all your devices, there is no limit and that subscription will not expire until 28/09/2021

You mention your son paid for the subscription under his name, but your Email, so, have you logged into your son's Microsoft Account to see if the subscription is listed there?

Hi 

i paid for it under my email just under his name as it wouldnt let me under my own name. 

can access it not the issue, has my hp laptop listed add a device will not accept my apple serial number only surface xbox whatever. Does not accept mac serail number.

what am i missing

On the new device you access the MS Account associated with 365 and install

365 Personal is licensed for 6 working PC's/Macs owned by that single user

Contributor since 2006
Currently win11 Pro & O365 Bus, multiple devices

Hi jayne

When Microsoft 365 is installed on one device, you should not need to provide a serial number or product key to install Office on another device, you should be able to just click Install, provided you are using the same login details used to purchase the subscription

Does son have Microsoft 365 installed on his device and is that working correctly?

To install on another device, sign in to the Microsoft account (https://account.microsoft.com/services) on that device and install.
